Esta semana ha sido increíble para los grandullones de la Protectora. El lunes se adoptó nuestra querida Lela, y este fin de semana ha sido el turno de nuestro grandullón, nuestro querido Braco.
Con él, hemos pasado muchas cosas. Primero cuando llegó, nos fijamos que no tenía musculatura en sus patas traseras y caminaba de puntillas. Gracias a nuestra querida Karin, y a sus sesiones de fisioterapia que le daba semanalmente, Braco ha recobrado musculatura.
Karin, dos veces a la semana iba no sólo a atender a nuestro querido Braco, sino también a nuestra lela. Les hacía unos ejercicios, que a ellos les gustaban mucho, pero a Braco lo que le encantaba eran esas manos de ángel que tiene Karin, y sus masajes tan reconfortantes.
Mil gracias, Karin por todo el tiempo y el trabajo desinteresado que has tenido para con estos dos ángeles.
Braco tuvo que pasar por una operación, debido a que le salió un tumor en el pecho. Se le extirpó y se le realizó una biopsia, se le aplicó el tratamiento respectivo, y afortunadamente este bulto no ha vuelto a aparecer más.
Durante varias semanas, han venido a visitarnos Laika y sus dueños. Le comentamos que dentro de la protectora, Braco era su mejor compañero de juegos.
Cuando venían, sacaban a Braco para que jugase con Laika. Braco se ganó el corazón de los dueños de Laika. Este jueves, vinieron para sacarlo y llevarlo a pasear. Fueron a la presa de Soria y de las Niñas. Tras dejar a Braco en la Protectora, los dueños de laika quedaron tristes, y Laika estuvo todo el camino de regreso a casa muy triste. Entonces la familia al completo decidió que Braco era parte de ellos.
El viernes, Laika estaba muy contenta porque venían a buscar a su compañero. Sus nuevos dueños, venían preparados para adoptarlo, ya habían comprado una correa y un hermoso collar para él. Braco se puso muy contento de volver a verles, y repartió besos a todos!
Sabemos que Braco será muy feliz con esta hermosa familia!
Cuando llegó a su nuevo hogar, se puso a jugar con Antje y Laika. Después, por la tarde salieron a pasear al mar, Laika le enseñó a Braco lo divertido que es pasear por la playa.
Mil gracias, Michael, Antje y Laika por darle un hogar a Braco. Es un perro especial, bueno y cariñoso. Estamos seguros que él será el perro más agradecido del mundo, todos los voluntarios les estamos eternamente agradecidos, la emoción es muy grande, la palabra “gracias” se hace pequeña para poder expresar todo lo que en estos momentos sentimos.

This one was an incredible week for the big ones of the kennel. On Monday Lela was adopted and on the weekend it was the turn of our big boy, our beloved Braco.
With him we went through a lot of things. When he arrived we noticed that he was lacking of muscles in his hind legs and tiptoeing. Thanks to our nice Karin and her physiotherapical treatments he received weekly he built up muscels.
Karin came twice a week not only to attend Braco, but also our Lela. She employed exercises which both of them liked a lot, but especially Braco loved these angelic hands that gave him strengthening massages.
Thousands of thanks, Karin, for all the time and work you applied selflessly in these 2 angels.
When a tumor was detected in his breast Braco had to pass through a medical surgery. It was removed, a biopsy with appropriate treatment was employed, and fortunately the lump didn't crop out again.
During a few weeks Laika and her new owners visited us and we told them that in the kennel Braco was Laika's best playfellow. Every time they came they let Braco out to play with Laika. Braco gained the heart of her owners. On Thursday they picked him up for a walk and took him to the dams of Soria and Las Niñas. When they returned him to the kennel Laika's owners were very sad and so was Laika on the way home. Consequently the whole family decided that Braco was part of them.
On Friday Laika felt very happy when they came to pick up her chum. His new owners arrived prepared for the adoption having bought a new leash and a beautiful collar for him. Braco was very happy to meet them again and reparted kisses to all of them.
We know that he will be very lucky with this family!
Arriving at his new home he at once started playing with Antje and Laika. Later in the afternoon they went for a walk to the sea, and Laika showed Braco how funny this can be.
Thousands of thanks to Antje and Michael for giving a home to Braco. He is a very special dog, nice and cosy. We are sure he will be the most grateful dog in the world. All the volunteers are infinitely thankful, the emotions are high, the words "thank you" are too poor to express our current feelings.

Diese war eine unglaubliche Woche für die Grossen des Tierheims. Am Montag wurde unsere liebe Lela adoptiert und am Wochenende unser Grosser, unser geliebter Braco.
Mit ihm haben wir viel erlebt. Als er zu uns kam, fiel uns auf, dass er keine Hinterbeinmuskulatur hatte und auf den Zehenspitzen lief. Dank unserer lieben Karin und ihrer physiotherapeutischen Behandlungen, die sie ihm wöchentlich gab, baute Braco Muskeln auf.
Karin kam 2 Mal pro Woche, nicht nur, um unseren lieben Braco, sondern auch unsere Lela zu behandeln. Sie machte Übungen mit ihnen, die beiden gut gefielen, aber vor allem Braco liebte diese Engelshände von Karin, die ihm so erholsame Massagen bescherten.
Tausend Dank, Karin, für all die Zeit und Arbeit, die du so selbstlos in diese beiden Engel investiert hast.
Braco musste eine Operation über sich ergehen lassen, nachdem ihm ein Tumor in der Brust gewachsen war. Dieser wurde entfernt, man machte eine Biopsie mit einer entsprechenden Behandlung, und glücklicherweise tauchte der Knoten nicht wieder auf.
Einige Wochen lang besuchten uns Laika und ihre Besitzer, und wir sagten ihnen, dass Braco im Tierheim ihr bester Spielkamerad war. Jedesmal, wenn sie kamen, liessen sie Braco raus, damit er mit Laika spielen konnte. Braco gewann das Herz ihrer Besitzer. Am Donnerstag holten sie ihn zu einem Spaziergang ab und fuhren an die Soriatalsperre und die von Las Niñas. Als sie Braco ins Tierheim zurückbrachten, waren Laikas Besitzer sehr traurig, und auch Laika trauerte auf dem Heimweg. Daraufhin beschloss die gesamte Familie, dass Braco zu ihnen gehöre.
Am Freitag war Laika sehr glücklich, als sie ihren Kumpel abholten. Sein neues Herrchen und Frauchen kamen auf die Adoption vorbereitet zu uns und hatten sogar schon eine Leine und ein wunderschönes Halsband für ihn gekauft. Braco freute sich sehr, sie wiederzusehen und verteilte Küsschen an alle.
Wir wissen, dass er in dieser Familie sehr glücklich sein wird!
Als er in seinem neuen Zuhause ankam, fing er sofort an, mit Antje und Laika zu spielen. Später am Nachmittag machten sie einen Spaziergang ans Meer, und Laika zeigte Braco, wieviel Spass ein Strandspaziergang macht.
Tausend Dank, Antje und Michael, dass ihr Braco ein Zuhause gebt. Er ist ein ganz besonderer Hund, lieb und verschmust. Wir sind sicher, er wird der dankbarste Hund auf der Welt sein. Wir, alle Ehrenamtlichen, sind unendlich dankbar, die Emotionen sehr gross und das Wort "danke" ist zu gering, um das auszudrücken, was wir in diesen Momenten fühlen.
