VIAJE DE SARAH Y JENNY - SARAH AND JENNY JOURNEY - SARAH UND JENN
Este fin de semana han viajado Sarah y Jenny, dos de nuestras queridas perritas a Alemania. Sarah ya está adoptada, ahora vivirá junto a otros dos perritos más, su familia está muy feliz con ella. Y Jenny está esperando una oportunidad, d...e seguro la encuentra muy pronto porque es una perrita encantadora, dulce y sociable con todos...un verdadero encanto!
Ambas llegaron muy bien, se llevan de maravilla con los demás perros. De seguro pronto nos llegarán noticias y fotos de ellas en sus nuevos hogares.
Muchas gracias a la madrina de vuelo Nicole Loehnert, por hacer posible que estas dos nenas viajasen en busca de un hogar, parte muy importante son los padrinos de vuelo. Así que si alguien quiere ayudar a perritos como Sarah y Jenny a que tengan un hogar, ser padrino de vuelo es una gran ayuda y algo muy importante, les agradecemos desde ya vuestra colaboración.

Last weekend, Sarah and Jenny, two of our beloved dogs, flew to Germany. Sarah has already been adopted and now lives with other two dogs - her family is very happy with her. Jenny is waiting for her opportunity, and we are sure she will find a house soon because she is a lovely dog and very sociable with everybody… a true delight!
Both arrived safely, and they get along very well with the other dogs. We are sure that we will soon receive photos and news of them in their new homes.

Dieses Wochenende reisten unsere beiden Hündinnen, Sarah und Jenny, nach Deutschland. Sarah ist bereits adoptiert und lebt jetzt zusammen mit 2 anderen Hunden. Ihre Familie ist sehr glücklich mit ihr. Und Jenny wartet auf ihre Gelegenheit, sicherlich wird auch sie bald ihre Chance bekommen, denn sie ist eine ganz bezaubernde Hündin, süss und mit allen verträglich... ein wahrer Charmebolzen!
Beide kamen gut an und sie kommen sehr gut mit den anderen Hunden aus. Wahrscheinlich erhalten wir bald Neuigkeiten und Fotos von ihren neuen Zuhausen.
Vielen Dank an ihre Flugpatin, Nicole Loehnert, die den beiden die Reise ermöglichte auf der Suche nach einem neuen Heim. Flugpaten sind enorm wichtig. Falls Sie Hunden wie Sarah und Jenny helfen möchten, ein neues Zuhause zu finden oder eine Flugpatenschaft für einen unserer Hunde übernehmen würden, wäre das eine grosse Hilfe für uns, und wir danken Ihnen schon jetzt für Ihre Mitarbeit.
Adopción de Zimba - Zimba’s adoption - Zimbas Adoption
Zimba nos llegó el año 2011 con una herida producto de algún accidente de tráfico, él tenía en ese momento 16 años.
Tenía microchip, estuvimos averiguando y la dueña de Zimba había fal...lecido hacía poco tiempo atrás, la hija de la señora por lo visto no se encontraba mentalmente bien. Producto de ello lo echó a la calle, lo atropelló un coche y ya saben el resto de la historia.
Estuvimos una semana curándole sus heridas en la protectora afortunadamente todas eran heridas superficiales y no tenía nada roto.
Empezamos a ver como día a día su alma se iba apagando más y más, al llegar al día que ni siquiera quería dar su paseo como todos. Una compañera al ver que este viejito se estaba dejando morir, no pudo más y se lo llevó a su casa, esperándose lo peor en los días que venían. Pero pensando que era injusto que un animalito que ha vivido tantos años rodeado de una familia, terminase tras las frías rejas de una jaula.
Para nuestro asombro, Zimba ya ha cumplido 17 años y medio. Goza dentro de lo que cabe de muy buena salud. Nuestra compañera aunque sabemos que siempre lo tendrá en su hogar hasta el fin de sus días, quiere ser su dueña y que Zimba figure ahora como un perro felizmente adoptado.
Sabemos que adoptar un perrito tan mayor conlleva a que más tarde o más temprano, éste nos deje, pero a la vez nos llena de alegría saber que hasta el último día de la vida de Zimba estará rodeado de amor y de un hogar.
Zimba was 16 years old when he was brought to us after a very serious traffic injury.
He was micro-chipped and following investigations we found that his owner had died. His owner had a daughter who was mentally ill and because of that she had thrown him out of the house. As a result he suffered the accident and you know the rest of his story.
We took care of him and, fortunately, all his injuries were superficial and he didn’t have any broken bones.
We started to see his spirit draining from him, day by day, until one day he didn’t want to go for a walk with his friends. Seeing this, a partner carried him home, expecting the worst. She thought that leaving him there dying in a cold cage was unfair, especially since he had lived surrounded by a family before.
To our surprise, Zimba is now 17 and a half years old and is healthy for his age. Our partner will have him in her house for the rest of his days and wants him to be a happy adopted dog until the end.
We know that an old dog won’t be with us for very much longer, but at the same time it makes us happy to know that the their last days will be spent in a home full of love, just as is happening with Zimba now.

Er hatte einen Microchip, wir fanden heraus, dass sein Frauchen kurz zuvor verstorben war, und ihre Tochter offensichtlich psychisch krank war, den Hund auf die Strasse setzte, wo er angefahren wurde, und den Rest der Geschichte kennen Sie ja.
Im Tierheim pflegten wir eine Woche lang seine Wunden, die glücklicherweise nur oberflächlich waren und er hatte keine Brüche.
Wir beobachteten, wie seine Seele Tag für Tag weniger wurde, bis er eines Tages nicht mal mehr, wie die anderen, spazieren gehen wollte. Eine Kollegin konnte nicht mit ansehen, dass der Arme sich aufgab und nahm ihn mit nach Hause in Erwartung des Schlimmsten in den folgenden Tagen. Sie dachte, es wäre ungerecht, ein Tier, das so viele Jahre in einer Familie gelebt hatte, hinter kalten Zwingergittern enden zu lassen.
Zu unserem Erstaunen ist Zimba jetzt 17 1/2 Jahre alt und erfreut sich, seinem Alter entsprechend, guter Gesundheit . Wir wissen, dass unsere Kollegin ihn bis an sein Lebensende behalten und sein Frauchen sein wird, und dass Zimba von jetzt an ein glücklich adoptierter Hund ist.
Wir wissen auch, was es bedeutet, einen so alten Hund, der früher oder später von einem geht, zu adoptieren, aber gleichzeitig erfreut es uns, dass Zimba bis zu seinem letzten Tag von Liebe und einem Zuhause umgeben ist.

Este martes, han venido Susanne, Antje, Michael, Braco y Laika y nos han traído pienso para los peludos. Mil gracias por toda vuestra ayuda, y compañía. Es maravilloso poderlos ver y pasar tan buenos momentos... juntos, y en compañía de Braco y Laika.
Susanne, Antje, Michael, Braco and Laika brought dog food last Tuesday. Thank you very much for your help and visit. It was wonderful to meet you and we had a really nice time together.
Am Dienstag kamen Susanne, Antje, Michael, Braco und Laika und brachten Trockenfutter für die Fellnasen. Tausend Dank für all eure Hilfe und eure Gesellschaft. Es ist herrlich,so tolle Momente gemeinsam zu verbringen und in Gesellschaft von Braco und Laika.

Angela nos ha traído latas de comida para nuestros nenes, aprovechamos la ocasión para darle las gracias porque siempre nos está echando una mano en la protectora. Los enanos te lo agradecen mucho y te llenarán... de lametones a tu regreso.
