No Hemos querido terminar el año, sin hacer la fiesta navideña a nuestros queridos peludos. Gracias a que los Tres Reyes Magos de Gáldar nos visitaron, ellos nos trajeron muchísimos juguetes para todos nuestros nenes.
Cada uno recibió de parte de los voluntarios sus juguetes, primero los recibieron los que estaban en el patio 1 : Cody, Nala, Yuma, Verdi, Riu, Lucky, Sarah, Hueso, Candy, Sandy, Gizmo, Keios, Ada, Tom, Elvis, Gutti y Lotus.
Los que más disfrutaron con sus juguetes fueron : Gutti, Sarah, Yuma, Keios, Lucky, Cody y Nala. Tom asombrado con el peluche que le había tocado, Ada también mirando… qué cosita era eso amarillo que tenía a su costado.
Por supuesto, no faltaron los mimitos… las curiosas de candy y Sandy …que no sabían que era un pelota! Candy…también preguntándose que era ese peluche marrón que tenía en frente.
Les tocó el turno a los del patio 2 : Jenny, Paula, Daniela, Arte, Chuck, Gara, Chester, Fiona, Cooper, Lua, Valeria, Bull y Leo.
Primero fueron : Paula, Daniela, Jenny y Arte…Paula más que su regalo, quería mimitos de Hanne. Arte quería abrir todos los regalos, se alegró muchísimo al ver que le había tocado una pelota…pero no se contento con eso, sino que también le gustó tanto el regalo que le tocó a Jenny que también se lo metió a la boca…así que en el hocico tenía pelota y juguete por partida doble. Mientras Arte seguía jugando con los voluntarios, Paula y Daniela se dejaban acariciar y mimar por Lore y Vero. Paula fue la que más mimitos se llevó porque iba voluntario por voluntario, pidiendo su dosis extras de mimitos.
Petra, entregando siempre mucho amor a todos los peludos. Le tocó el turno de chuck, pero él también quería mimitos de Lore. Los cachorritos querían abrir todos los regalos, al final pudimos esconder algunos para los demás, Bull jugando con su pelota y Valeria mirando y diciendo…y esto…mmmm…se come??? Para Leo le habíamos dejado una pelota, pero visto que él lo que le encanta son los huesos, le trajimos uno muy especial para él, así que feliz se lo llevó para su caseta…así nadie se lo coge. También a nuestros vecinos los reyes les dejaron unos juguetes, ellos se pusieron muy contentos.
Así que a nadie le falto diversión y regalos, todos los voluntarios que pudimos asistir nos lo pasamos en grande, viendo lo felices que estaban nuestros queridos amigos de 4 patas. Nos reímos mucho, jugamos con ellos, les entregamos una dosis extras de mimitos.
Les hemos prometido que haremos todo lo posible por encontrarles un buen hogar… sino a todos, por lo menos a la gran mayoría…es nuestro pequeño deseo para este 2013, ojalá lo podamos cumplir! De momento, tendrán todo nuestro amor, atención y cuidados!

We didn’t want to finish the year without throwing a party for our beloved furries. Thanks to the three Wise Men from Galdar for their visit - they brought lots of toys for our babies.
Everyone received a toy. Firstly, the dogs from yard 1: Cody, Nala, Yuma, Verdi, Riu, Lucky, Sarah, Hueso, Candy, Sandy, Gizmo, Keios, Ada, Tom, Elvis, Gutti and Lotus.
Gutti, Sarah, Yuma, Keios, Lucky, Cody and Nala enjoyed their toys more than most. Tom and Ada were amazed, and Ada seemed to be asking herself: what is that small yellow thing next to me?
Of course, plenty of stroking was also given out. Candy and Sandy were very curious about their gifts...they didn’t know what a ball was! Candy was also asking herself: what is that brown toy I had in front of me?
After that, it was the turn of the dogs in yard 2: Jenny, Paula, Daniela, Arte, Chuck, Gara, Chester, Fiona, Cooper, Lua, Valeria, Bull and Leo.
First: Paula, Daniela, Jenny and Arte... Paula was more interested in being petted than in her toy. Arte wanted to open all the presents, and got very happy when she saw her ball... but one was not enough for her; she liked Jenny’s toy as well ...so in the end she had a ball and a toy in her mouth. While Arte was playing with the volunteers, Paula and Daniela were receiving love from Lore and Vero. Paula received more strokes than the others because she went to each of the volunteers, one by one.
Petra, as always, gave a lot of love to all the dogs. It was Chuck's turn, but he only wanted to be petted by Lore. The puppies wanted to open all the presents, but we managed to keep some back for the rest. Bull was playing with his ball while Valeria was looking at it and maybe asking herself: mmmm... can I eat it? Leo had a ball, but because we know how much he likes bones, we gave him a special one, and he took it to his house (so nobody would touch it). Our neighbour received some presents from the Wise Men too - they were very happy.
So everybody got a present and had a lot of fun, and all the volunteers enjoyed seeing how happy the dogs were. We laughed a lot, played with them and gave them a lot of petting.
We promised the dogs that we are going to do as much as we can to find them a lovely home…maybe not for everyone, but at least for the majority of them. That’s our wish for this 2013. Hopefully we can do it! But at least for now, they are receiving all our love, attention and care!
Wir konnten das Jahr nicht ohne Weihnachtsfeier für unsere geliebten Fellnasen ausklingen lassen. Die Heiligen 3 Könige von Gáldar besuchten uns und brachten ganz viele Spielsachen für unsere Hunde.
Jeder einzelne bekam von den ehrenamtlichen Helfern sein Spielzeug, zuerst diejenigen im vorderen Teil: Cody, Nala, Yuma, Verdi, Riu, Lucky, Sarah, Hueso, Candy, Sandy, Gizmo, Keios, Ada, Tom, Elvis, Gutti und Lotus.
Am meisten freuten sich Gutti, Sarah, Yuma, Keios, Lucky, Cody und Nala. Tom wunderte sich sehr über das Plüschtier, das er bekommen hatte, Ada schaute auch... was war denn das für ein gelbes Ding, das da neben ihr lag?
Natürlich kamen auch die Streicheleinheiten nicht zu kurz... die Neugierigen, Candy und Sandy, die nicht wussten, was ein Ball war...! Candy fragte sich ausserdem, was sie mit dem braunen Teddy anfangen sollte, der ihr gegenüber lag.
Dann kamen die im hinteren Teil dran: Jenny, Paula, Daniela, Arte, Chuck, Gara, Chester, Fiona, Cooper, Lua, Valeria, Bull und Leo. Zuerst Paula, Daniela, Jenny und Arte… Paula freute sich jedoch mehr über die Liebkosungen von Hanne als über ihr Geschenk. Arte wollte alle aufmachen und war glücklich, als er sah, dass er einen Ball bekommen hatte. Mit dem gab er sich aber nicht zufrieden, denn ihm gefiel auch Jennys Geschenk, das er gleich mal in die Schnauze nahm... Somit hatte er sowohl den Ball als auch ihr Spielzeug im Maul. Während Arte mit den Ehrenamtlichen spielte, schmusten Paula und Daniela mit Lore und Vero. Paula war jedoch diejenige, die die meisten Streicheleinheiten bekam, da sie von einem zum anderen ging, und sich ihre Extradosis abholte.
Wie immer verteilte Petra viel Liebe unter den Fellnasen. Als Chuck dran war, wollte der jedoch lieber mit Lore schmusen. Die Welpen versuchten, alle Geschenke auszupacken, und schliesslich gelang es uns, einige für die restlichen Hunde zu verstecken. Bull spielte mit seinem Ball, Valeria sah zu als ob sie sagen wollte... und das... mmmm kann man das fressen? Für Leo hatten wir einen Ball übrig gelassen, doch da wir wissen, dass er lieber Knochen mag, gaben wir ihm einen ganz besonderen, und er schleppte ihn schnell in seinen Käfig, damit ihn ihm niemand wegnehmen konnte. Auch unseren Nachbarn brachten die Heiligen 3 Könige Geschenke, worüber sie sich sehr freuten.
Somit fehlte es nicht an Spass und Geschenken. Alle freiwilligen Helfer, die dabei waren, freuten sich zu sehen, wie glücklich unsere vierbeinigen Freunde waren. Wir lachten viel, spielten mit ihnen und gaben ihnen eine Extraportion Streicheleinheiten.
Wir haben ihnen versprochen, alles zu tun, damit sie bald ein gutes Zuhause finden... falls nicht alle, so wenigstens die Mehrheit... das ist unser kleiner Wunsch für 2013, und wir hoffen, dass er in Erfüllung geht. Bis dahin haben sie unsere Liebe, Aufmerksamkeit und Pflege!
